Myria Design is seeking a qualified CAD Designer to become part of our fun and dynamic design team. The position will involve producing design drawings for a range of project types, both residential and commercial buildings. The incumbent will work directly with project managers, our trades, and senior technologists and engineers to develop designs and construction drawings.

Key Responsibilities

? Prepare detailed design drawings of buildings and/or sites (primarily using AutoCAD or REVIT, Softplan, or related applications)

? Work with other technologists and engineers to get design drawings and specifications to permit stage

? May be required to consult with city and any authorities having jurisdiction on projects

Requirements / Qualifications

? Attendance or graduation from a post-secondary program such as Engineering Technology or similar secondary education in a related field is an asset, but not required

? Proficient with AutoCAD and/or REVIT and/or Softplan

? Excellent communication skills; written and verbal

? Progressive experience in the building design, development, or construction field.

? Knowledge of building assemblies and the building code is an asset

? Proficient in Architectural and Structural drafting is preferred

? 3D rendering is an asset
