We’re looking for a strategic and versatile Designer to help bring Loft’s brand to life across a growing portfolio of creative touchpoints—from branding and websites to event collateral, mission patches, sales materials, and more. This role is all about visual storytelling, collaboration, and execution. You’ll own projects end-to-end, working across teams to deliver creative that is clear, bold, and aligned with our mission. As Loft continues to scale, you’ll also have the opportunity to help shape and evolve new brand identities as we expand into new markets and you’ll be part of a small but high-impact team that works across functions and time zones. We’re looking for someone who’s equal parts creative and operational—who can think strategically, communicate clearly, and get great work across the finish line. About This Role:
  • Brand & Identity Ownership Help expand Loft’s growing ecosystem of brands with fresh visuals and scalable systems. You’ll shape new identities for sub-brands and joint ventures while maintaining cohesion across everything from mission patches to digital campaigns.
  • Creative Execution Across Mediums Design visuals for a wide variety of use cases—social media, sales decks, event signage, websites, internal docs, swag, and more.
  • Motion & Video Support Produce or manage production of motion graphics and lightweight video content that supports brand storytelling and product messaging.
  • Campaign & Content Collaboration Partner with marketing, sales, and leadership to develop visual narratives that support launches, events, and business goals. Translate feedback into clarity, not chaos.
  • Project Ownership & Prioritization Own medium to large design projects from end to end. Balance competing priorities across three brands, communicate clearly, and drive projects across the finish line—even when the path forward isn’t fully mapped out.
  • Stakeholder Management Work across time zones and teams to build trust, synthesize input, and align stakeholders—including high-level leadership.
Must Haves:
  • 5–7 years of experience in visual, brand, or marketing design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital, print, and identity work
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects from strategy through execution
  • Excellent visual design fundamentals (layout, typography, color, hierarchy)
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and balancing multiple stakeholders
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Powerpoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English and French (or working toward fluency)
  • Experience working across teams and time zones
Nice To Haves:
  • Experience with motion design and/or lightweight video production
  • Familiarity with Webflow, After Effects, Frame.io, Slack and/or Jira
  • Experience owning end-to-end brand deliverables like swag or events
  • Prior experience in a startup, fast-scaling, or technical environment
  • Background or passion for the aerospace or space tech industry
  • Comfort managing budgets, timelines, and production for events or campaigns

Who We Are

Loft Orbital builds “shareable” satellites, providing a fast & simple path to orbit for organizations that require access to space. Powered by our hardware & software products, we operate satellites, fly customer payloads onboard, and handle entire missions from end to end - significantly reducing the lead-time and risk of a traditional space mission.

Our standard interface enables us to fly multiple customer payloads on the same satellite, with capabilities such as earth imagery, weather & climate /science data collection, IoT connectivity, in-orbit demonstrations, and national security missions. Our customers trust us to manage their space infrastructure, so they can focus on what matters most to them: operating their mission and collecting their data.
