Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in design management within pharmaceutical engineering, strong BIM knowledge, and familiarity with C&Q processes.

Type : Initial 6 month contract (high chance for extension)

We are seeking an experienced design manager to lead and manage architectural and engineering design activities through concept, basic and detailed design phases of a large pharmaceutical project. The candidate will need to ensure design quality, schedule and budget targets are met and ensure a smooth transition to C&Q teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead & manage the design process.
• Coordinate design activities with (architectural / engineering) contractors and internal teams. Support Project manager with selecting a design contractor
• Drive BIM setup and management
• Participate in value engineering, optioneering and change management related to design
• Support procurement by reviewing design related specifications and equipment needed
• Ensure all design deliverables are handed over, including as built records, O&M manuals and BIM models
• 5+ years of experience in a design manager or senior engineering role, ideally within Pharmaceutical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of BIM, design standards and technical review process.
• Familiarity with C&Q processes.
• Experience in managing Engineering / architectural firms, design contract and vendor coordination
• Previous involvement in global engineering or large CAPEX projects.
• Experience with filling lines, packaging and cleanroom environments.
