A leading aerospace engineering firm is seeking an experienced engineer to contribute to system engineering projects in Paris. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering and 3-5 years of experience, ideally with knowledge of Galileo. Responsibilities include supporting technical specifications, analyzing proposals, and ensuring compliance with the Statement of Work. Description du poste

  • Contributing to the preparation of technical specifications.
  • Supporting the Contracting Authority in analyzing industry proposals related to Ground Segment evolutions and changes.
  • Assisting in overseeing industry compliance with the Statement of Work.
  • Supporting oversight of industrial development plans and associated risks, contributing to risk mitigation with an engineering perspective.
  • Assessing the performance of Ground Segment evolutions through review of KPIs and deliverables, and proposing improvements.
  • Participating in system-level reviews (e.g., System Requirements Review), as well as sub-system and component reviews, ensuring compliance with user requirements and standards; assisting in review preparations and supporting review boards/panels.
  • Following up on industrial activities related to System Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), Configuration Management Plan (CMP), Interface Control Document (ICD), etc.
  • Monitoring industrial activities such as system/sub-system maintenance engineering, including Maintenance Support Logistics (ILS), Maintenance Engineering Analysis (MEA), Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCM), Failure Mode Effects And Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Reliability Block Diagram (RBD).
  • Supporting the Contracting Authority in following up on Industrialization Plans to ensure EUSPA requirements are met within delivery plans.
  • Supporting follow-up on system/sub-system delivery plans and deployment activities to ensure compliance with EUSPA requirements.
  • Ensuring completeness of handover packages with all required documentation before transfer.
  • Assisting during Qualification & Acceptance phases in anomaly resolution and review activities.
  • Supporting the migration activities from legacy to new infrastructure, ensuring adherence to plans and requirements.
  • Supporting decommissioning activities to ensure compliance with plan acceptance criteria.
  • Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in ground segment system engineering.
    • Experience with Galileo is advantageous.
    • Ability to work with review boards and multidisciplinary teams.
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
    • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
