YOUR ROLE

The Deputy Site Manager supports the Site Manager in implementing site operations and maintenance strategies, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with statutory and company policies. The role requires managing technical disciplines, leading specific technical areas for continuous improvement and cost reduction, and supporting site setup during the O&M phase, including developing processes and interfacing with construction teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Ensure site readiness for operational phase.
  • Develop and implement operational processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Prepare training requirements for the O&M team.
  • Support recruitment for the O&M site team.
  • Lead O&M site implementation.
  • Liaise with construction teams and facilitate wind farm handover.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and service providers to support transition from construction to operational phase.

Main functions and activities

  • Plan offshore O&M activities, including daily, medium-, and long-term coordination.
  • Manage work permits, ensuring HSE compliance.
  • Supervise third-party contractors and ensure quality delivery.
  • Develop site management processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain operational data and work order records.
  • Report activities and oversee spare parts, tools, and equipment management.
  • Support HV operations planning and execution.

Experience

  • Degree and professional qualification in Engineering, Contract Management, or related fields.
  • Experience with commercial and contractual aspects of engineering, warranty claims, and negotiations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple contracts under tight deadlines.
  • Significant experience in offshore/onshore wind or similar industries.
  • Strong performance management and workload balancing skills.
