AVENTA is seeking a Deputy Project Fabrication Manager to join the fabrication team on major G-PAJ / WHT projects in the Paris area. You will report to the Project Fabrication Manager and coordinate with the SURF team to ensure on-time, on-cost delivery in a complex, multinational environment.

You will govern project execution across engineering, procurement, fabrication and quality, lead technical meetings, and act as a safety leader, applying risk assessment and ensuring adherence to HSE

Qualifications

• Extensive O&G fabrication experience for subsea structures (PLET/PLEM) and related piping/steelwork.
• Strong welding knowledge with WPS/PQR and welder qualification practices; familiarity with NDT methods.
• Understand fabrication sequences and constructability constraints in complex projects.
• Knowledge of structural steel codes (AWS D1.1 or equivalent) and piping codes (ASME B31.3, DNV RP-B204).
• Experience with material planning (MTO) and substitutions; ability to manage interfaces between engineering, procurement and fabrication.
• Fluent English; French is a plus; ability to work in a multicultural team; stress-resilient and proactive.
• Hold certifications like BOSIET, MFC and Yellow Fever.

For one of our clients, a major international EPCI contractor, we are looking for a Deputy Project Fabrication Manager to join the fabrication team on the G-PAJ / WHT projects, reporting to the Project Fabrication Manager and coordinating with the SURF team.

What you will do

• Manage the interface between engineering & procurement and fabrication work front analysis
• Assess the impact of fabrication issues on schedule and propose recovery actions
• Manage NCR and MOC processes
• Lead technical meetings with stakeholders and consolidate minutes
• Act as a safety leader, applying risk assessment processes and ensuring compliance with HSE and quality procedures

What you bring

• Consolidated experience in O&G fabrication of subsea structures (PLET/PLEM), associated steel structures and piping
• Strong understanding of welding (WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, NDT methods)
• Familiarity with fabrication sequences and constructability constraints
• Knowledge of structural steel codes (AWS D1.1 or equivalent) and piping codes (ASME B31.3, DNV-RP-B204)
• Comfortable managing material availability, MTO and substitutions
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, Primavera; SAP a plus
• Fluent English; French recommended; Portuguese a plus
• Comfortable working in a multicultural team environment, stress-resilient, proactive
• Valid BOSIET, MFC and Yellow Fever certifications
