AVENTA is seeking a Weight Control Report and MTO Engineer to support weight tracking and material take-off across offshore projects. Based in the Paris area, you will read drawings, extract data and build tracking tools to automate reporting.

You will collaborate with project teams, ensure data consistency, and leverage Excel, VBA, Python and Power BI to deliver accurate weight and materials data across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering or drafting background in structural mechanics.
• Strong appetite for data management and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with VBA; Python skills expected.
• Power BI knowledge is a key asset for reporting and data tracking.
• A rigorous, structured profile with strong communication skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; French is a plus.

For one of our clients, a major international EPCI contractor, we are looking for a Weight Control Report and MTO Engineer to support weight tracking and material take-off across multiple offshore projects.

What you will do

• Produce and maintain weight control reports and material take-offs (MTO) across multiple projects
• Read and interpret fabrication and construction drawings to extract and track relevant data
• Build and maintain data tracking tools, automating reporting where possible
• Communicate regularly with project teams to align on data and reporting needs
• Support consistency of weight and materials data across several concurrent projects

What you bring

• Engineering or drafting background in structural mechanics, comfortable reading fabrication and construction drawings
• Strong appetite for data management and analysis
• Excellent command of Excel, with working knowledge of VBA; Python skills expected
• Power BI knowledge is a key asset for reporting and data tracking
• A rigorous, structured profile with strong communication skills
• Fluent English, written and spoken; French is a plus
