Job summary

Sonepar is seeking a Deployment Manager to drive its Spark transformation across Operating Companies. You will lead through the full deployment lifecycle in a global, agile setting, coordinating governance, data, and change streams to ensure milestones are met and value is realized.

You will partner with OpCo leaders to deliver on digital transformation objectives, manage risks, and enable a smooth transition to post-deployment operations. Hybrid work in Paris is expected after probation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in digital or business transformation or project management.
• Proven delivery of complex transformation projects from planning to implementation.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence both business and IT stakeholders.
• Experience in international, multicultural environments with a collaborative mindset.

How will you shape our tomorrow?

As Deployment Manager, you will play a key role in bringing Sonepar’s digital transformation to life across our Operating Companies (OpCos).

Working in an international, multicultural and agile environment, you will partner closely with OpCo leaders, Spark Streams and key stakeholders to drive the successful deployment and adoption of the Spark transformation program.

You will lead OpCos through their transformation journey, from initial preparation through implementation and adoption, ensuring that key milestones, business objectives and timelines are successfully achieved.

Your scope will cover both Spark Product Portfolios, Customer Experience (CX) and Associate Experience (AX). Acting as a key link between the OpCos and the different Spark streams, you will coordinate and align activities across areas such as Integration, Data and Change Management to ensure a smooth, effective and sustainable transformation.

What success looks like?

As Deployment Manager, you will lead the transformation journey of Sonepar Operating Companies (OpCos), ensuring successful delivery and adoption while managing risks, timelines and business priorities in line with the Spark Transformation Methodology.

You will be accountable for the end-to-end deployment journey, from initial assessment through go-live and transition to post-deployment operations.

Your key responsibilities:

• Assess transformation readiness: Evaluate each OpCo’s starting point during the Exploration phase and, together with local teams, define and execute the actions required to establish the fundamentals for a successful Spark implementation.
• Build the transformation roadmap: Lead the Discovery phase with the OpCo to translate transformation objectives into clear priorities, milestones and actionable deployment plans.
• Establish effective governance: Set up the appropriate project governance, facilitate key discussions and enable timely decision-making throughout the transformation.
• Coordinate deployment streams: Synchronize the different Spark streams, including Integration, Data and Change, ensuring activities are delivered on time, to the expected quality and in line with the Transformation Methodology.
• Manage risks and dependencies: Anticipate, identify and mitigate risks and dependencies that could impact successful delivery.
• Drive stakeholder communication: Provide clear and regular visibility on progress, challenges, decisions and outcomes, while recommending actions to continuously improve deployment effectiveness.
• Ensure a successful transition after go-live: Prepare and coordinate the handover to post-deployment teams, ensuring the right operating processes and KPIs are in place to support sustainable adoption and performance.

The experience you bring

• 5+ years of experience in digital or business transformation, project management or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering complex transformation projects from planning through implementation.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both business and IT stakeholders.
• Experience working in international and multicultural environments with a collaborative, one-team mindset.
• Experience with Agile ways of working is a plus.

Work Mode & Location

• Hybrid: 3 days in Paris (8ème) after the probation period
