Alpine chic on the Mont s’Arbois slopes; our modern chalet builds on the legacy of the Rothschild family who set out to create an unrivaled resort experience nearly a century ago. Distinct French character, pure Alpine tradition, and an inviting setting in both summer and winter define this mountain retreat. Play one of the world’s finest Alpine golf courses, relax in the region’s largest spa, and dine at Le 1920, honored with two Michelin stars. Our first Four Seasons mountain destination in Europe with 55 spacious accommodations including 14 suites, is due to re-open in December 2019 following renovation. Our seasonal operations run from December 15 to April 15 and from June 14 to September 30.

About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie assists the Chef de Partie wherever possible. Flexibility to move between departments (substitute or relieve cooks at comparable or junior stations) is required. Responsibilities include preparing sauces, cold meats, vegetables, and assisting in pastry, cold, and hot preparations for lunch and dinner service.

What you will do
  1. Carry out and ensure the preparation of your assigned tasks under the supervision of a Chef de Partie and/or Sous-Chef.
  2. Set up your station.
  3. Manage production and product storage.
  4. Comply with technical specifications and the culinary standards established by the Chef.
  5. This role requires adaptability to high activity levels and specific customer relationship management.

You must have the legal right to work in France and be fluent in French and English.
