Demand Planner Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities.
2. Interface with the one level up S&OP and be part of the overall International S&OP team.
3. Coordinate with regional planning and work closely with innovation and international S&OP teams to ensure process consistency and optimal use of reports and regional documents, focusing on demand planning, supply planning, innovation, slobs, and portfolio management.
4. Report to the Senior S&OP Manager.
5. Collaborate with Supply Chain Fulfillment to align demand and supply within the S&OP framework.
6. Manage full horizon forecasts for all products, with constant monitoring of sales.
7. Create and update forecast profiles for various brands and perform data cleansing.
8. Serve as a backup for other Demand Planners.
9. Collaborate with key departments including key accounts, sales controlling, marketing, and customer service.
10. Work closely with local and international Supply Chain teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Demand Planner or similar role in supply chain management.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.
• Familiarity with demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, IBP) and good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power BI.
• Fluent in English and French.
