Demand Planner

This role is based in Paris, France.

What makes this a great opportunity?
  1. Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities.
  2. Facilitate driver-based discussions and ensure the integrity of forecasting components by applying statistical methods.
  3. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to inform S&OP meetings.
  4. Manage Demand Planning Clinics and support efficient commercial interactions within the local S&OP process.
  5. Coordinate with regional planning and collaborate with innovation and international S&OP teams to ensure process consistency and optimal report usage.
  6. Partner with finance to align forecasts with the one number principle, supporting the IR process.
  7. Drive demand forecasting and facilitate Demand Review meetings within the S&OP framework.
  8. Work with Supply Chain Fulfillment to align demand and supply planning.
Role Responsibilities
  1. Manage Demand Planning processes, including Demand Review meetings.
  2. Develop full horizon forecasts for all product ranges and monitor sales data.
  3. Create and update forecast profiles for brands and cleanse data as needed.
  4. Analyze forecast deviations and recommend measures to improve accuracy.
  5. Continuously improve forecast accuracy on a weekly/monthly basis.
  6. Serve as a backup for other Demand Planners.
  7. Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, customer service, and supply chain teams.
  8. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance S&OP maturity.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Demand Planner or similar role in supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with forecasting techniques.
  • Familiarity with demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, IBP) and proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and inventory management strategies.
  • Understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Travel up to 10%.
