Main Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as our Community Delivery Driver will include delivering medication to Well patients and customers from their pharmacy. You will handle the collection of prescriptions from doctor’s surgeries when required, and ensure all legally required training is completed to perform your duties. The role also involves completing daily paperwork and reporting to meet legal requirements, conducting daily vehicle checks, and inputting key metrics into pharmacy systems.

The Ideal Candidate

As a Delivery Driver, you will build strong relationships with our pharmacy teams and local customers, especially those who cannot visit our stores for their prescriptions or healthcare products. These are often vulnerable members of the community, and our home delivery service is vital to their wellbeing. Working closely with the Delivery Team Manager and store teams, your local knowledge and passion for delivering excellent service will ensure that your cargo reaches the right patient at the right time.

Please note that due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check before employment begins. This includes both spent and unspent convictions, as well as information held by local police deemed relevant to the role. Employment is conditional upon satisfactory DBS clearance.
