BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of IT implementation experience involving discussions with senior personnel on trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation.
• Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable business software or current hands-on experience with technology infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, and virtualization.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and integration of cloud services with on-premises technologies from vendors like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP.
• Experience with IT compliance, risk management (security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA), scripting/coding, and willingness to travel as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in financial services and consulting, with knowledge of AWS services like EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3.
• Proven track record in deploying AWS in distributed environments and large-scale migrations, including infrastructure automation via DevOps scripting (shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell).
• Linux and Windows system administration skills in cloud or virtualized environments.
• Experience managing data center operations, monitoring, alerting, and strategic thinking about business and technical challenges.
