Delivery Assurance Field Representative - Aero-Engine Parts

Job Requirements :

Evaluate and ensure that supplier-produced Aero-Engine parts are delivered to customers as scheduled to meet engine build timelines.

Identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints to develop improvement and mitigation plans for better on-time delivery from suppliers.

This hybrid role involves aspects of Supply Chain management, procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance.

Candidates must be fluent in French and English, possess a driving license, and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities :

  • Support Supply Chain Management and Production Planning for OEM sites and suppliers across Europe, primarily in France.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of operational processes to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive solutions to meet customer needs with determination, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Communicate and collaborate to remove barriers to on-time delivery of parts.
  • Lead data collection and analysis on key indicators like RM availability, WIP, quality notifications, and supplier tracking.
  • Build relationships with partners, customers, and suppliers.
  • Manage multiple projects and coordinate with various departments and management levels.
  • Gather feedback and initiate improvement projects with Supplier Development Leaders.
  • Understand products and operational processes at assigned suppliers.
  • Analyze process and part data for insights.
  • Monitor MRP tools, production schedules, and delivery commitments, providing forecasts to customers.
  • Document and report findings, create presentations, and disseminate information.

Work Experience

Skills (Mechanical)

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as forging, casting, assembly, machining, and special processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical data.
  • Experience with process planning and production readiness reviews.
  • Familiarity with operating instructions and control plans.
  • Knowledge of lean methodologies and tools.
  • Understanding of material handling and packaging.

Skills (Supply Chain)

  • Experience in supply chain management, production planning, quality, and operations.
  • Familiarity with operating instructions and control plans.
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of shipping and distribution processes.

Skills (Production / Procurement)

  • Understanding of part qualification processes like PPAP, FAI, RCCA.
  • Knowledge of production processes such as machining, assembly, CMM, special processes, 5S, and BOM.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Skills in planning, raw materials, inventory, procurement, and buffer stocks.
  • Familiarity with French aerospace industry standards.
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies like Lean, DMAIC, 6 Sigma.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, GD&T, and critical characteristics (KPCs).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, both oral and written.
  • IT literacy and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%.
  • Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset, capable of inspiring change.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, and good at time management.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and consider innovative ideas.
  • Effective at handling conflicting priorities and problem-solving.
  • Capable of working remotely or in a team.
