Delivery Assurance Field Representative - Aero-Engine Parts

Job Requirements:

Evaluate and ensure that supplier-produced Aero-Engine parts are delivered to customers as per agreement, meeting engine build schedules.

Identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints to develop improvement and mitigation plans for better on-time delivery from suppliers.

This hybrid role involves aspects of Supply Chain management, procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance.

Candidates must be fluent in French and English, possess a driving license, and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Supply Chain Management and Production Planning across OEM sites and suppliers, mainly in France and throughout Europe.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of operational processes to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive solutions to meet goals and satisfy customer needs, demonstrating determination, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Communicate effectively to remove barriers to on-time delivery of parts.
  • Lead tasks and projects, including data collection on RM availability, WIP tracking, quality notifications, and supplier tracking.
  • Build relationships with partners, customers, and suppliers.
  • Manage multiple projects and interact across departments and management levels.
  • Gather feedback and identify new improvement projects with Supplier Development Leaders.
  • Understand products and operational processes at assigned suppliers.
  • Analyze process and part data through detailed observations.
  • Monitor MRP tools, production schedules, WIP, and non-conformances against delivery commitments, providing forecast plans.
  • Document reports, create presentations, and disseminate information as needed.

Work Experience and Skills:

Mechanical Skills:

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes (Forging, Casting, Assembly, Machining, Special Processes).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical data.
  • Experience with Process Planning and Production Readiness reviews.
  • Familiarity with Operating Instructions and Control Plans.
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies and tools.
  • Understanding of material packaging and handling.

Supply Chain Skills:

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Quality, and Operations.
  • Familiarity with Operating Instructions and Control Plans.
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of shipping and distribution processes.

Production / Procurement Skills:

  • Knowledge of part qualification requirements (PPAP, FAI, RCCA).
  • Understanding of production processes (Machining, Assembly, CMM, Special Processes, 5S, BOM).
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Skills in planning, raw material and inventory management, procurement.
  • Knowledge of French aerospace industry.
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (Lean, ACE, DMAIC, Six Sigma).
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, GD&T, and critical characteristics.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (oral and written).
  • IT literacy and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%.
  • Proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic with good time management.
  • Ability to build relationships, handle conflicting priorities, and work remotely or in teams.
  • Commitment to health and safety compliance.
