Qualifications

  • Soutenir la gestion de la chaîne d'approvisionnement et la planification de la production.

Delivery Assurance Field Representative - Aero-Engine Parts

Job Requirements:

Evaluate and ensure that supplier-produced Aero-Engine parts are delivered to customers as agreed, meeting engine build schedules.

Identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints to develop improvement and mitigation plans for enhanced on-time delivery from suppliers.

This hybrid role involves aspects of Supply Chain management, procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance.

Candidates must be fluent in French and English, possess a driving license, and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Supply Chain Management and Production Planning for OEM sites and suppliers mainly in France and across Europe.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of operational processes to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive solutions to meet goals, demonstrating determination, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Communicate and collaborate to eliminate barriers to on-time parts delivery.
  • Lead data collection and task/project completion, including monitoring RM availability, WIP, Quality Notifications, and supplier tracking.
  • Build relationships with partners, customers, and suppliers to achieve results.
  • Manage multiple projects, coordinating across departments and management levels.
  • Gather feedback and identify new improvement initiatives with Supplier Development Leaders.
  • Develop understanding of products and operational processes at suppliers.
  • Analyze process and part data through detailed observations.
  • Monitor MRP tools, production schedules, and delivery commitments, providing forecast plans.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and disseminate information as needed.

Work Experience

Skills (Mechanical):

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Forging, Casting, Assembly, Machining, and Special Processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical data.
  • Experience with Process Planning and Production Readiness reviews.
  • Familiarity with Operating Instructions and Control Plans.
  • Understanding of Lean methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of material handling and packaging.

Skills (Supply Chain):

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Quality, and Operations.
  • Familiarity with Operating Instructions and Control Plans.
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of shipping and distribution processes.

Skills (Production / Procurement):

  • Understanding of part qualification requirements (PPAP, FAI, RCCA).
  • Knowledge of production processes like Machining, Assembly, CMM, Special Processes, 5S, BOM.
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Skills in planning, raw material management, inventory, procurement, and buffer stocks.
  • French aerospace industry knowledge.
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (Lean, ACE, DMAIC, Six Sigma).
  • Ability to interpret drawings, GD&T, and critical characteristics.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, both oral and written.
  • IT literacy and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%.
  • Proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic with good time management.
  • Ability to build relationships and inspire change.
  • Strong problem-solving, logical thinking, and the ability to handle conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to work remotely or in a team environment.
  • Commitment to health and safety regulations and procedures.
