Description du poste

The Security Consultant typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which include :

  • Leading and managing security design consulting engagements to a professional standard independently and / or in support of other senior consultants and the Director.
  • Maintaining client and company deliverables, ensuring they are developed with appropriate professional methodologies, standards, best practice and that the client and company budgets and programmes are met.
  • Developing and building new and existing client relationships, facilitating where appropriate the introduction and provision of additional services.

The Consultant develops and delivers mission elements within a structured framework, using security industry standards : audit, context analysis, and design deliverables cover risk assessment, security strategy, concept, schematic and detailed design, and tender documentation.

The Consultant undertakes technical security reviews, gap analysis, design surveys, installation inspection and approvals, and other similar tasks, working at client sites and remotely.

Skills and Experience :

This role accessible to junior and / or senior consultants, with a thorough experience of 3 - 5 years minimum in similar positions in consulting and security design, acquired from renowned consultancy firms or security integrators.

  • Bachelor’s - Master’s degree in a Security related field or Risk Management or Engineering or Design or Master Planning or proven experience based and / or recognised certification (a Physical Security Professional - PSP would be an advantage).
  • Experience in providing security risk assessments, consulting, and strategic design work in the Middle East.
  • Thorough knowledge of current local and international standards, actors and technologies, specific clients / authorities’ requirements (Saudi Royal Commissions, MOI, Sira, ADMCC), and installation practices.
  • Depth and breadth of understanding and experience of delivering physical and electronic security design consulting across all RIBA (or AIA) stages within multiple sectors within the new and built environment.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of designing architectural, physical, and technical security systems including : CPTED, HVM, fencing, gates, perimeter intruder detection, force-entry, blast and ballistic protection measures, video surveillance, video analytics, access control, security control rooms, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience of other related disciplines such as ELV systems, MEP, IT, FLS, etc.
  • Substantial Project Management experience relating to security consulting and systems deployment.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver consulting engagements.
  • Confident in presenting to clients and project stakeholders.
