About the Role

Airswift is recruiting for a Deep Water Installation Engineer to support a major LNG development project offshore Mozambique. The successful candidate will be based in Paris during the engineering phase and will rotate offshore during key installation campaigns. This role is critical to the delivery of subsea structures and tie-in scopes within a multi-billion dollar EPCI contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead installation engineering for subsea structures (manifolds, foundations, UTAs, SDUs) and tie-ins (flying leads, umbilicals, rigid jumpers).
  • Ensure safe, timely, and high-quality execution of installation scopes in line with a 30-year design life.
  • Collaborate with contractor teams to oversee readiness processes and offshore execution planning.
  • Interface with other installation engineers to ensure consistency and manage cross-discipline impacts.
  • Monitor contractor performance and challenge execution plans where necessary.
  • Coordinate marine spread inspections and liaise with Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS).
  • Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC standards throughout engineering and execution phases.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Deep Water Lead and escalate risks with mitigation strategies.
Candidate Requirements
  • 10+ years’ experience in offshore installation engineering, including deep water structures and tie-ins.
  • Strong understanding of EPCI contract execution and installation campaign planning.
  • Proven ability to assess contractor capabilities and marine spreads.
  • Experience managing offshore interfaces and co-activities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multicultural environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Valid BOSIET and OGUK medical certification.
