Convelio is seeking a Customs Declarant to join the EU Operations department. You will play a vital role in shaping the future of art logistics by ensuring compliance with customs regulations and facilitating smooth operations.

We currently serve a wide range of customers from art galleries, antique dealers, auction houses, online platforms to interior designers.

Your Role

As a Customs Declarant at Convelio in the EU Operations department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of art logistics. With your unique skill set and passion for innovation, you will contribute to our mission of revolutionizing the industry.

What you’ll do

• Assist with verification of the information and documents needed for customs declaration
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations
• Provide accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
• Gather all of the documentation to apply for customs procedures or formalities
• Process these requests either directly or through agents: request export or import customs declaration, launch applications for customs formalities, etc.
• Make sure that our customs processes are conducted in a timely manner, and well‑documented
• Keep our operations teams and our clients informed on the status of all of these processes

Your profile

• You are fluent in French and English
• Formal training as a customs declarant
• General knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and document requirements for international transport (familiarity with art specificities desirable but not mandatory)

• You have great attention to detail and good organizational skills
• You are enthusiastic, ambitious, self‑motivated, and hands‑on
• You enjoy working in a challenging fast‑paced, target‑driven, and team‑oriented environment
• You are comfortable learning and adapting to new concepts and new tools
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills and aim to simplify complex customs problems into accessible information
