Convelio Ltd. is hiring a Customs Declarant for the EU Operations team to manage customs declarations and related compliance for art shipments across the EU. You will handle data entry, document gathering, and processes to ensure smooth customs clearance.

Fluency in French and English, plus prior customs declarant experience, is essential. The role offers a dynamic, target-driven environment with opportunities to impact operations and client satisfaction.

Your Role

As a Customs Declarant at Convelio in the EU Operations department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of art logistics. With your unique skill set and passion for innovation, you will contribute to our mission of revolutionizing the industry.

What you'll do

• Assist with verification of the information and documents needed for customs declaration
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations
• Provide accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
• Gather all of the documentation to apply for customs procedures or formalities
• Process these requests either directly or through agents : request export or import customs declaration, launch applications for customs formalities, etc.
• Make sure that our customs processes are conducted in a timely manner, and well-documented
• Keep our operations teams and our clients informed on the status of all of these processes

Your profile

• You are fluent in French and English
• You have formal training and a first experience as a customs declarant
• General knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and document requirements for international transport (familiarity with art specificities desired, but not mandatory)
• You have a strong interest in operations
• You have great attention to detail, and good organizational skills
• You are enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated, and hands-on
• You enjoy working in a challenging fast-paced, target-driven, and team-oriented environment
• You are comfortable learning and adapting to new concepts and new tools
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills, and aim to simplify complex customs problems into accessible information
