A leading logistics company in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is seeking a DCEO Engineer to support critical Data Center operations. The ideal candidate will maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, supervise maintenance contractors, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. This position requires initiative, self-management, and expertise in three-phase electrical systems and mechanical operations, offering a dynamic environment focused on reliability and efficiency.
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure continual access to our customers. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. We work on challenging problems to deliver high safety and security standards while providing capacity at low cost. We are looking for a DCEO Engineer to serve as a technical resource to support Amazon within our mission critical Data Center. The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability in all electrical and mechanical infrastructure within the data center environment in a specific location, with uptime better than 99.999%. This role requires a self-managed person who takes initiative and provides effective solutions for complex technical problems, with the goal of improving resiliency, efficiency, and capacity of our facilities to support Amazon customers.
Experience working with mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems is preferred. The role requires self-management, initiative, and the ability to provide effective solutions for complex technical problems. Candidates should be prepared to operate with minimal supervision, participate in on-call rotations, and comply with safety and security procedures. Knowledge of three-phase electrical systems (switch gear, UPSs, PDUs), cooling systems (CRACs, chillers, cooling towers, water chemical systems, air handlers), and related building systems is expected. Familiarity with ticketing, root cause analysis, and asset management practices is beneficial.
