Pelico is seeking a database optimisation intern to monitor and enhance the performance of our multi-tenant databases handling 10M+ rows per database across several tenants.

You will improve alerting, address root causes, and implement improvements to underlying operations while learning in a fast-growing manufacturing orchestration platform. Pelico is headquartered in Paris with offices in Miami, London and Amsterdam, and we’re just getting started.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and PostgreSQL
• Know how to write efficient SQL and perform query optimization
• Familiar with AI-assisted workflows and eager to adopt new tools
• Experience with AI tools for writing, research, analysis, coding, or productivity

Responsabilités

• Optimize database queries using industry standard best practices
• Design and implement alerts within our alerting environment to catch flaws and disruptions
• Design, implement, and upkeep runbooks for alert management
• Contribute to our in-house data generation solution for internal dev testing
