Main Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and update data-driven visuals for ETP publications, presentations, and internal and external communications.
- Collaborate with ETP colleagues to create compelling, insightful visualizations of data and analytical findings.
- Work with the IEAs Communications and Digital Office to publish ETP visualizations across multiple platforms, including PDFs, web pages, social media, videos, PowerPoint presentations, and print.
- Research and experiment with emerging data visualization tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Coordinate usability testing of visualization outputs and propose enhancements.
- Support general graphic design needs for publications, the website, and other platforms as required.
- Participate in the OECD community of practice on data visualization to stay current on initiatives, tools, and standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Academic Background
Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline is preferred, including fields related to data and analytics, design, and visual communication, or interdisciplinary areas combining technical and visual expertise.Professional Background
At least three years of experience in data visualization across public, private, or academic sectors.A strong portfolio demonstrating ability to turn data into insightful visuals.Ability to manage multiple data design projects simultaneously.Creativity in storytelling through presentations for diverse audiences.Ability to work in a dynamic, international, and multi-lingual environment.Interest in energy, environmental topics, or relevant fields.Tools
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; experience with Photoshop, InDesign, or other Adobe Creative Cloud tools is a plus.Solid understanding of graphic design principles, typography, and data storytelling.Experience designing static visualizations, dashboards, and infographics.Familiarity with interactive visualization libraries (e.g., Highcharts) is a plus.Skills in data analysis and insight extraction from large datasets using statistical tools.Experience working with data formats like CSV and JSON.Knowledge of GIS mapping software is an advantage.Basic skills in HTML and CSS.Core Competencies
