Job summary

Oddo BHF is seeking a Data Strategy Intern to develop and industrialize the Data Catalog, linking governance with AI initiatives in a European finance leader. You will work under the Data Project Manager on data governance and DLP-related topics, contributing to trusted data for decision-making.

You will build reporting, document standards, and coordinate with IT, AI governance, and DX teams, gaining exposure to securities trading and private banking data landscapes.

Qualifications

• Master student from a Top 5 school with finance/engineering alignment.
• Strong interest in data governance and AI governance.
• Experience with Python, SQL and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Purview / M365 ecosystem is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document the Data Catalog and its attributes.
• Implement reports to track Data Catalog adoption and quality.
• Draft standards for assets in the Data Catalog: naming, classification, ownership.
• Coordinate Data Catalog roadmap with AI governance objectives.
• Support Purview and M365 security features for AI governance.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare governance reports for steering committees.
• Leverage Data & Digital Solutions tools for governance initiatives.
