ABOUT THE ROLE

The IT Data Insight NLP team works closely with Research to make predictive, statistical analyses, drawing on new exploratory textual data.

As an expert on textual data, you will take part, from the exploratory phase up to production launches, in:

1. Analysing new textual datasets for alpha research
2. Extracting relevant features from these datasets to assist the Research teams
3. Contacts with our data providers
4. Understanding business issues in order to identify new modelling pathways
5. Contributing to the development and maintenance of a test analytics platform
6. Designing data prediction models, using natural language processing tools and techniques
7. Launching and monitoring analytics on textual data

SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

1. You have a master's degree (ideally a Master's in machine learning or data science) from engineering school or university equivalent.
2. You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related position.
3. You have mastered the python stack of data science tools and libraries (Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Jupyter).
4. You feel at ease with natural language processing techniques and their libraries (NLTK, Pytorch, Hugging Face).
5. You have some experience in deep learning.
6. You have familiarity with distributed computing tools and cloud technology (Spark, AWS, SageMaker).
7. You are versatile, autonomous, and rigorous, with a strong team spirit and good communication skills.
8. You have a professional-level knowledge of English.
