Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a personal car.
  • Successful candidates must undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Nationals from the following countries will be given priority: Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Lesotho, Malawi, South Africa, Swaziland (Eswatini), Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a qualified nurse.
  • Possession of either a nursing degree or diploma.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide need-based services to adults with disabilities, adopting a person-centred approach.
  • Foster self-awareness, personal growth, and empower individuals to make decisions and lifestyle choices.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures while administering medication according to care plans.
  • Support individuals with medical conditions or disabilities, utilizing various health aids such as wheelchairs, hoists, and hospital beds.
  • Ensure the implementation of necessary risk assessments.
  • Treat individuals with respect and practice non-judgmental care based on the principles of anti-discriminatory practice.
  • Attend regular training sessions and appraisals.
  • Assist service users in managing their resources and finances.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Full driving license.
