Health Care Assistant - International

Requirements:
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a personal car.
- Successful candidates must undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
- Nationals from the following countries will be given priority: Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Lesotho, Malawi, South Africa, Swaziland (Eswatini), Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a qualified nurse.
- Possession of either a nursing degree or diploma.
Responsibilities:
- Provide need-based services to adults with disabilities, adopting a person-centred approach.
- Foster self-awareness, personal growth, and empower individuals to make decisions and lifestyle choices.
- Adhere to policies and procedures while administering medication according to care plans.
- Support individuals with medical conditions or disabilities, utilizing various health aids such as wheelchairs, hoists, and hospital beds.
- Ensure the implementation of necessary risk assessments.
- Treat individuals with respect and practice non-judgmental care based on the principles of anti-discriminatory practice.
- Attend regular training sessions and appraisals.
- Assist service users in managing their resources and finances.
