Role Description & Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities that drive strategic decisions.
• Build and deploy predictive models using machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering).
• Perform data wrangling, preprocessing, and cleaning to prepare data for analysis and modeling.
• Design and execute experiments (A/B testing) to evaluate hypotheses and business initiatives.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, product managers, and business teams to define data requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data science and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a data science or quantitative analytics role with a good understanding of machine learning and operations research.
• Knowledge of R, SQL, and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++ is an asset.
• Experience in data mining across different industry segments like Automobile, Infrastructure & Equipment, Aerospace & Defense, manufacturing, Mining, etc.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights in a clear and actionable way.
