Job summary

BIP is seeking a Lead Data Scientist - Senior Manager to guide the data science team in building advanced ML solutions and data-driven insights. You will shape our data strategy, drive innovation, and foster a culture of experimentation and excellence in France.

The role requires strong technical leadership, 6–8+ years in data science, and fluency in English and French, with a focus on delivering business value through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field (PhD is a strong plus).
• 6–8+ years of experience in data science with a track record of delivering ML/AI projects.
• Proficient in Python or R and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Fluent in English and French; strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with big data frameworks and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Guide the data science team and shape our data strategy.
• Design, develop, and deploy ML models and predictive systems.
• Partner with product and engineering to drive data-driven initiatives.
• Establish best practices for experimentation, deployment, and governance.
• Communicate results to executives and stakeholders.
