We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to play a central role in driving innovation and shaping data-driven strategies across a fast-moving tech organisation. In this high-impact position, you’ll blend technical depth, product intuition, and strategic thinking to solve meaningful business challenges and enhance user experiences through applied machine learning.Your CollaboratorsYou'll work closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams. This role also offers visibility at the leadership level, with influence across multiple departments.What You’ll DoDrive end-to-end ML Initiatives : Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning systems that support personalisation, recommendations, and search use cases.Advance Applied AI : Utilise advanced techniques, including neural networks and Large Language Models (LLMs), to improve relevance and decision-making across digital platforms.Be a Technical Leader : Serve as a mentor and technical advisor to other data scientists and engineers, promoting a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.Shape Strategy : Work with stakeholders across product, engineering, and analytics to align on priorities, propose data-driven solutions, and influence the roadmap.Evaluate Emerging Tech : Stay at the forefront of ML/AI research and help integrate promising developments into real-world applications.Ideal Background~ Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or related field~7+ years of hands-on industry experience, with recent leadership in ML initiatives~ Strong expertise in building and operationalising machine learning models~ Domain experience in at least one of the following: recommender systems, ranking algorithms, NLP, or information retrieval~ Proficient in Python and modern data science tooling~ Familiar with both relational and NoSQL databases~ Experience deploying ML solutions in production environments~ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
