Data Product Strategy Leader

Job summary

Scaleway, a part of the Iliad Group, seeks a senior leader to define and drive the Data product strategy. You will shape roadmaps for a broad Data portfolio and partner with AI, Eng, Sales and Marketing to maximize revenue and product-market fit.

You will lead a team of 7 experienced Product Managers, coaching their development and ensuring disciplined discovery-to-delivery practices across a suite including Managed Relational Databases, OpenSearch, Serverless SQL, and more.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Product Management and proven track record in defining and executing product strategy.
• Experience leading and developing Product Managers (senior or principal level).
• Deep technical expertise in data ecosystems (SQL/NoSQL databases, messaging/queuing, analytics, data streaming).
• Experience in cloud computing and B2B infrastructure SaaS.
• Knowledge of GDPR, data sovereignty, ISO and SecNumCloud certifications.
• Business acumen to drive growth and pricing.
• Strategic thinking with multi-roadmap alignment.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy for Scaleway's Data portfolio.
• Set a clear strategic vision for the Data tribe and align roadmaps with business objectives.
• Coach Product Managers and ensure best practices from discovery to delivery and impact.
• Collaborate with Head of Product AI, Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering and leadership.
• Identify growth opportunities and maximize revenue across the portfolio.
• Drive pricing strategies and strengthen product differentiation with Product Marketing.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and identify business opportunities.
