Waters is seeking a FP&A data engineer to design a standardized EMEA data model across multiple legal entities, build Power Apps to collect payroll inputs, and develop Power Automate workflows.

The role focuses on implementing a Microsoft Fabric lakehouse, partnering with FP&A, HR, and finance teams to drive adoption, and establishing data standards for future reporting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure data platforms and lakehouse architectures.
• Delivery experience with Power Apps and Power Automate in finance or planning environments.
• Strong FP&A knowledge: payroll, budgeting, forecasting, cost centers, variance analysis.
• Experience standardizing finance or HR data across multiple countries or legal entities.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Ability to work independently in a greenfield setup.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a standardized EMEA FP&A data model across multiple legal entities
• Build and maintain Power Apps to collect, validate, and standardize payroll and planning inputs
• Develop Power Automate workflows to support approvals, controls, and auditability
• Build, operate, and optimize a Microsoft Fabric lakehouse (Bronze / Silver / Gold layers)
• Partner closely with FP&A, HR, and local finance teams to drive adoption and usage
• Define the analytics backlog, data standards, and foundations for future reporting and planning enhancements

Preferred Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric or modern Azure data platforms, including lakehouse architecture and data modeling
• Proven delivery experience with Power Apps and Power Automate, ideally within finance or planning environments
• Solid understanding of FP&A processes, including payroll, budgeting, forecasting, cost centers, and variance analysis
• Experience standardizing and automating finance or HR data across multiple countries or legal entities
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills, with the ability to design finance‑ready datasets
• Comfortable working independently in a greenfield setup and translating business needs into scalable data solutions
• 4-5 years of working experience in a similar position

Salary Range: 45.000 - 55.000 euros
