Ceva Animal Health is seeking a Data Platform Architect to drive the evolution of the Group’s Data Platform, including Snowflake foundation and cloud environments. You will design target architecture and stay hands-on to ensure performance, security and scalability.

You will define architectural models, data flows, governance and best practices, while collaborating with Data Engineering teams and business units to align technical choices with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in Computer Science, Data, or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture or Data Platform Architecture.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake and modern Data Architectures.

Responsabilités

• Define the target Data Platform architecture and contribute to its technology roadmap.
• Design the architecture of the platform, data layers and BI capabilities (reporting tools and capabilities).
• Define architectural models and patterns adapted to different use cases.
• Contribute to the development and industrialisation of platform components.
• Design data flows (ingestion, transformation, exposure).
• Ensure the security, integrity and compliance of the Data Platform.
• Implement secure data access models.
• Define and promote technical and data modelling standards.
• Optimise platform performance and data processing workloads.
• Drive cost optimisation and usage management initiatives within the Snowflake environment.
• Integrate relevant technological developments to enhance platform capabilities.
• Support Data Engineering teams in technical and architectural decision-making.
• Promote standards and best practices across the organisation.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to align the architecture with business needs.

Context:

As part of the acceleration of our Data & AI strategy, we are looking for a Data Platform Architect to contribute to the development and evolution of the Group’s Data Platform (Snowflake foundation and associated cloud environment). Within the Data Platform & Engineering team, you will play a key role in defining technical standards and designing the target architecture. As a hands-on architect, you will remain closely involved in development and engineering activities to ensure the platform’s performance, security and scalability.

Main Responsibilities:

Vision & Strategy

• Define the target Data Platform architecture and contribute to its technology roadmap.
• Support key technical decisions related to the evolution of the Snowflake environment.
• Contribute to the Group’s Data & AI strategy.

Design & Delivery

• Design the architecture of the platform, data layers and BI capabilities (reporting tools and capabilities).
• Define architectural models and patterns adapted to different use cases.
• Contribute to the development and industrialisation of platform components.
• Design data flows (ingestion, transformation, exposure).

Your Profile:

• Higher education degree in Computer Science, Data, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture or Data Platform Architecture.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake and modern Data Architectures.
• Solid knowledge of data modelling, ingestion and transformation.
• Hands-on architect with a strong interest in development and technical topics.
• Technical leadership, agility, pragmatism and an affinity for building and evolving environments.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
