Description du poste

The data Manager plays a central role in building, maintaining, improving, and evolving the Quality, Health & Safety, and Environment (QHSE) data that will contribute to the operational excellence of the division.

For this, the incumbent will focus on building the QHSE KPIs and dashboards in cooperation with the local and central QHSE, controlling, and IT teams. They will provide ad hoc reports upon request and monitor QHSE data.

This role is part of the newly created divisional Technology and Sustainability team and reports to the QHSE Director of Ingredients and Energy.

Key responsibilities :

  1. KPIs and dashboards design:
  2. Support the central QHSE team in defining relevant KPIs at different organizational levels.
  3. Design dashboards in cooperation with the central QHSE team.
  4. Data collection & analysis :
  5. Oversee the collection of QHSE relevant data by coordinating with the controlling team and operational management in the Saria countries.
  6. Develop relevant tools and processes to guarantee data quality and a “single point of truth”.
  7. Develop a strong network with the plants/countries and the ability to collect ad hoc requests.
  8. Prepare reports for QHSE managers and proactively suggest ideas for improvement.
  9. Data governance :
  10. Design and implement a data governance framework for QHSE metrics.
  11. Proactively identify data sources and promote automation together with IT teams.
  12. IT integration :
  13. Serve as the single point of contact between QHSE and IT regarding data management. Participate in the CARE project team, a group-wide data management and visualization initiative.
  14. Work with IT to simplify data collection and storage processes.
  15. Collaborate with different data sources (Excel, ERP, SQL, etc.).

Profile

  • At least 5 years of overall experience, with 2-3 years in a similar role involving data treatment and KPIs, ideally in a QHSE environment.
  • Strong data analytical skills, proficient in Excel, Power BI, and similar tools.
  • Excellent relational and communication skills, capable of connecting and persuading various audiences.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of operational/QHSE indicators (e.g., energy management, safety, non-conformities).
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages (mainly French, German, or Spanish) is a plus.
