Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies is building its data infrastructure team to ingest, process, and serve large-scale data. You will design, review and implement services, and work with stakeholders across teams to understand business and technical needs.

We value strong knowledge of algorithms, multi-language server development, and experience with big data tools to keep our systems robust and scalable.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency in server-side languages (Rust, C++, Go, Java).
• Experience writing high-performance, multithreaded server code.
• Understanding of big data tools and ecosystems (Elasticsearch, Kafka, BigTable, Cassandra).
• Excellent communication and writing skills for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, review and implement services and clients.
• Contribute to code quality via peer reviews, design reviews and testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and technical needs.
• Triages and investigates system issues to ensure robust operations.
