Mission
Design and build the data-gathering infrastructure, and guarantee that every dataset required by the internal knowledge platform is ingested, validated and available on schedule, providing the stable foundation on which AI agents and analytics rely.
Core Responsibilities
· Operate data pipelines that collect, transform and load records from lab instruments, ERP systems, third-party APIs and external partners into cloud storage and graph databases.
· Maintain data integrity through systematic quality checks, lineage tracking and audit-ready documentation compliant with food-safety standards.
· Provide technical support for day-to-day data issues (formats, encodings, connectivity) and contribute to continuous improvement of tooling and workflows.
Ideal Profile
· 3+ years of hands-on data-engineering experience designing, building and operating production-grade pipelines.
· Practical experience with Databricks, modern ETL/streaming platforms and Azure cloud-warehouse technologies.
· Familiarity with scripting in Python or Bash, SQL debugging and version-controlled workflow management.
· Methodical, service-oriented, and comfortable communicating progress or blockers to multidisciplinary teams in English.
· Genuine passion for food, flavour science and the global food system is a strong plus.
