Shift is seeking a mid-level Data/Software Engineer focused on data-centric projects in Paris. You will build scalable data models, develop ETL pipelines, and collaborate with product teams to turn roadmaps into tangible data solutions.

You will work with a diverse, international team, applying OO design, Python, and C# capabilities. The role emphasizes strong documentation, code quality, and delivering production-ready data platforms.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional data or software engineering experience.
• Strong data analysis skills with PowerBI/GoodData/Tableau.
• Knowledge of object-oriented concepts; C# is a plus.
• Data exploration with Python libraries.
• Curious, hands-on problem solver with good documentation practices.
• Strong teamwork and communication across distributed teams.
• English proficiency for an international company.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain scalable data models and data access layer frameworks for centralized databases and dashboards.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate data sources.
• Contribute to Agile development processes with sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate roadmaps into technical designs and deliverables.
• Work with Data Scientists to create data integration frameworks for analytics.
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, and monitoring for production releases.
