Data Engineer - RShiny Developer

Sensewaves builds Adaptix.Grid, one of the most innovative AI-powered software solutions for the analysis of the distribution grid. Based in Paris, France, the company is deploying their software with utilities all over the world and recently received the prestigious Emerging Technology Power Player 2024 award by the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) for their work with clients in the USA.

Tasks

We are looking for a Data Engineer to help shape the future of our product by developing new data-driven functionality and transforming customer needs into new use cases. You will have a central position in our team at the crossroads between user projects and our technical team. You will evolve and learn in a stimulating international environment within a fast-growing startup. We are looking for people with strong motivation, teamwork, creative skills, and a taste for initiative interested in actively contributing to the energy transition and net zero carbon initiatives.

Mission :

Key role within the tech team :

• Develop new product functionalities and modules
• Be at the interface between user projects and data scientists
• Develop user interfaces, data visualizations, and dashboards
• Collect user feedback and requests and act on it
• Keep our users happy!

Requirements

Profile and experience :

• Master or Ph.D. in software engineering or data science
• 2 years of experience or more

Skills :

• Data science programming languages (R / Python)
• Data web visualization technologies (Shiny, Dash)
• Data analysis and statistics
• SQL / NoSQL databases
• Data science skills
• Electrical engineering
• GIS and spatial data analysis
• REST APIs and web services
• Version Control Systems (Git)
