Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Concevoir et développer des fonctionnalités techniques et commerciales.
• Améliorer la performance et la scalabilité des systèmes de traitement des données.
• Collaborer avec le Product Owner pour suivre la feuille de route technique.

Data Engineer (Python) (REMOTE), Hérault (34)

Location: Hérault (34), France

Company: Specializes in the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects worldwide. Its main goal is to contribute to the energy transition by producing decarbonized, sustainable, and competitive electricity.

Role: As a Data Engineer reporting to the Head of Data, you will join a solar energy project currently developed in the United States. You will be responsible for connecting data from various sustainable energy sectors and working on high-impact topics directly related to green energy development.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop technical and business functionalities
• Improve performance and scalability of data processing systems
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to define and follow the technical roadmap
• Participate actively in agile rituals and technical exchanges with tech leads and cross-functional teams
• Contribute to project follow-up meetings, inter-team coordination, and incident management
• Estimate workload for functional and technical evolutions

Current Projects: Migration of CI/CD tools from AWS to GitLab

Location Details: Montpellier / 2 days remote work per week

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data topics
• Skills in Big Data
• Good command of English
• Knowledge of Python and databases (Spark, AWS, Terraform is a plus)

Salary and Benefits: Up to €55K fixed + 8% profit sharing + standard benefits
