What we offer:
As part of the EulCat project (subject to FEDER/Normandy Region funding), you will contribute, within the LITIS lab, to the development of a conversational agent about Normandy, intended for public use and in collaboration with project partners. As a data engineer, you will play a key role in its implementation.

Data & Research:

  • Search for and collect data about Normandy (archives, historical databases, local publications, etc.)
  • Structure the data to make it usable by AI models

Linguistic Modeling:

  • Adapt natural language processing (NLP) models to the cultural and linguistic specificities of Normandy
  • Integrate local dialects (e.g., Cauchois) in collaboration with linguists and regional experts

Development & Integration:

  • Work with technical teams to integrate models into the conversational agent
  • Participate in designing new features to enhance user experience

Analysis & Improvement:

  • Evaluate model performance and propose continuous improvements
  • Document processes and results to support team collaboration
