Job Description

Within the CIO CIB (Corporate and Investment Banking), in the IT Financing & Risks department, you join the Big Data and API team. This is the team in charge of the development and management of the datalake (Great Risk Lake). This data lake is a key brick in the implementation of financing, credit risks and development projects around the strategic plan.

Your daily tasks are:

1. To write detailed technical specifications, as well as to understand and evolve the models;
2. To develop queries, realize reusable industrial developments and recipes;
3. Plan and monitor production while ensuring compliance with production constraints;
4. Analyse the impacts of new projects on existing information system processes and processes;
5. Implement and automate end-to-end Data Engineering and API programs and solutions in a Big Data environment;
6. Integrate the team of data engineers, you participate in the definition of best practices and you actively participate in the BGC Big Data community.

The technical stack used is as follows: Python, SQL, Apache Spark, Java, Scala, Hadoop, Hive, OpenShift, Starburst, ElasticSearch, Logstash, Git, Jira, Jenkins.

The position is based in Paris and at our company it’s 10 days of telework per month, 15 to 17 days of RTT per year, on-site services such as catering, gym or corporate concierge. Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

You have a degree in computer science with a specialization in Big Data, you have at least 2 years of experience in java development and/ or big data in the banking field.

You are proficient:
- Scala, Java, Python, Apache Spark and SQL;
- The different components of the Hadoop on-premise ecosystem;
- RDBMS skills;
- API skills;
- DevOps environment, including CI/CD pipelines: Git, Jira, Jenkins, XLDeploy, XLRelease, ControlM.

You are:
- Autonomous, curious and you have a taste for banking;
- Passionate about data;
- With excellent relationships, you are recognized for your ability to adapt to different audiences;

You are fluent in English with a minimum level of B2.
