Job summary

fifty-five designs and delivers data pipelines, platforms and AI applications that drive client decision-making on Google Cloud. You’ll own projects and client accounts, collaborating with consultants and data scientists, and contribute to AI-enabled offerings across data and AI.

You’ll combine SQL, Python and cloud engineering with strong judgement, building production-ready systems and ensuring high quality.

Qualifications

• Excellent SQL and strong Python skills.
• Proven experience designing, building and operating reliable data pipelines, data models and cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure also welcome).
• Transformation and orchestration tooling such as dbt, Airflow or Dataform.
• Strong software engineering practices: Git-based workflows, code review, automated testing and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate scalable data pipelines, data models and end-to-end solution architectures on GCP (BigQuery, Python, dbt, Airflow, Dataform).
• Own technical delivery on projects and accounts from scoping to production, including risk management and trade-offs.
• Ensure production quality with validation, testing, observability and data-quality controls; diagnose and fix production issues.
• Design and build AI applications for clients and internal teams, including LLM agents on Google Cloud with Gemini and Google's ADK.
• Use agentic coding tools to accelerate development, validate outputs and share learnings with the team.
• Clarify requirements with clients and data science teams, turning business needs into pragmatic designs and communicating reasoning to non-technical stakeholders.
• Raise engineering standards through design and code reviews and thorough documentation.
