Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd is seeking a Safety Manager for Paris-based European projects in data centres. This 12-month contract role focuses on leading HSE matters on construction and operational sites, coordinating risk assessments, permits, inductions and audits to meet client KPIs.

You will review incidents, drive corrective actions, and promote a strong safety culture across site teams, collaborating with contractors and clients to ensure regulatory compliance and safe project delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing health, safety, and environmental activities on construction or operational sites.
• Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and monitoring corrective actions.
• Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and challenge clients or contractors on safety.
• Experience in construction, commissioning, or live operations with strong site safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for HSE matters, including risk assessments, permits, inductions, inspections, and training.
• Conduct regular safety audits, site reviews, and compliance checks to meet HSE standards and client KPIs.
• Identify and manage high-risk activities with contractors and clients on safety planning.
• Review incidents and near misses, implement corrective actions, and promote safety culture across sites.
