Position: Data Center Security Manager, DC Security, Paris

This role oversees the physical security operations at our data centers in the Paris area ("CDG Cluster"), reporting to the Cluster or Area Security Manager. The DSM maintains the security posture of assigned sites with support from the security guard vendor.

Amazon Infrastructure Services manages the design, planning, delivery, and operation of global infrastructure, ensuring continuous cloud service availability. Our diverse team collaborates across software, hardware, network engineering, supply chain, security, and operations to uphold safety standards and deliver capacity at optimal costs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Respond promptly and calmly to security incidents, following directives from security leadership.
2. Support and guide on-site security personnel, ensuring adherence to physical security standards and SOPs.
3. Report unusual events timely to the Cluster Manager.
4. Oversee access control systems and badge processes.
5. Investigate security events using alarm and CCTV systems.
6. Coordinate with the Security Operations Center during incidents.
7. Develop and improve security procedures and workflows based on data analysis.
8. Conduct security inspections, audits, and investigations as needed.
9. Be available for on-call support during nights and weekends for emergencies.

Basic Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in a similar security role in public or private sectors.
• Over 5 years of experience utilizing data and metrics to enhance processes or customer satisfaction.
• Eligibility for or possession of SSIAP1 and TFP APS certifications.
• Valid driving license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to data collection and analysis tools.
• Metrics-driven approach.
