Amazon AWS Data Centers in Paris is seeking a Security Specialist Intern to support day-to-day physical security operations. You will work with security vendors, analyze data, and help improve access controls and surveillance across facilities.

This full-time 12-week internship (40 hours/week) is on-site, with potential to transition to a full-time role. You will write reports, create presentations for management, and gain mentorship while learning in an international, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Risk Management, Security Management, Criminology or a related field, graduating in 2027.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment, with strong time management skills.
• Own vehicle is recommended as reliable transportation to the data center facility.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with vendors involved in new security construction, repairs, daily security operations and patrols, and planning.
• Analyze security metrics and data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Make suggestions on improving electronic surveillance systems and access controls.
• Help develop and deliver guidance to data center occupants on reducing false alarms.
• Write reports and create presentations on the status of physical security operations for management.
• Assist with planning and coordinating security-related projects.
