- Applies MRCI's methodologies and a data-driven understanding of markets and consumers to identify growth opportunities and fuel innovation and brand development (U&A, Demand Spaces, weak signals)
- Consolidate internal knowledge for each AU
- Collect, organize, share and pass on best practices.
Main Activities
Marketing intelligence, diagnosis and analysis of markets / brands / competitors, diagnosis of competing innovations :
- Follow trends and communicate relevant ones
- Track performances of AUs' markets / segments, including regional specificities, by aggregating and analyzing data
- Deep dive into main competitors and their offers (e.g., Mondelez, Hochland, Bel,..)
- Track competition innovations that may be benchmarked by AUs or inspire them
Identification of new Demand Spaces and consumer insights :
- Define Demand Space best practices for Savencia and support / accompany subsidiaries in their deployment
- Gather and understand consumers and shoppers' behavior and data within the AU
- Bring the consumer / shopper perspective to marketing decision in Aus strategic orientations or projects
- Identify white spots
Diagnosis and consolidation of Savencia's innovation
- Follow regional Diamonds and local innovations / renovation projects performances in collaboration with subsidiaries.
- Consolidate Savencia global retail funnel by AU and techno / segment including projects managed by Aus and by subsidiaries
- Collect best practices in innovation, renovation, activation, methodologies, ... from Savencia subsidiaries, AUs,.. and competition. Collect Top & Flop learnings. Pass on these best practices.
- Identify Game Changers to be rolled out across the regions and becoming future Worldwide diamonds or Top 10 Innos
Reporting
- Contributing to SG and AUs PLT, budget, Cotrim reports, creating a scoreboard of key indicators with the AU Directors
Skills, Profile, experiences
- Proficient marketing experience (senior brand manager or group manager level)
- Analytical abilities with MRCI experience or ability for MRCI, data and consumer oriented. Enjoys understanding markets / competition / innovation,
- International profile (e.g., multi-lingual, open to new cultures, quick understanding of international topics
- Good relational abilities (affinity for new contacts), leadership, analytical and synthesis abilities
