The Role

We are seeking a talented Data Architect passionate about solving complex business problems with cutting-edge technology. In this role, you will manage all aspects of data and information, from understanding business requirements to designing data models and architectures. Your expertise will guide data lifecycle governance, including acquisition, transformation, classification, storage, presentation, distribution, security, privacy, and archiving to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and security.

You will collaborate with customers to design solutions that address their unique business challenges, considering their needs and constraints while applying industry knowledge. The role involves working with diverse technologies such as databases (relational, hierarchical, object-oriented), file systems, storage management, document imaging, knowledge and content management, taxonomies, and business intelligence, including cloud storage solutions.

As a Data Architect, you will develop and design centralized or distributed systems that meet user requirements and perform efficiently. You will conduct solution assurance assessments and work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet customer expectations.

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in Dimensional Modelling for Enterprise DWH (Star Schema, SCD, Facts)
• Developing Data Marts and Semantic Layers based on end-user requirements
• Expertise in Logical and Physical data modelling tools like ERWin or SAP Powerdesigner
• Design and implementation experience of DWH data models, preferably in Banking
• Knowledge of industry data models (Teradata, FIBO, IBM, PI)
• Designing/reverse engineering data models from existing systems
• Implementing DWH models on RDBMS/MPP systems (Greenplum, Oracle, Teradata, Redshift, etc.)
• SQL proficiency
• Data modeling, database design, and management best practices
• Cloud infrastructure architecture (Google, Azure, AWS)
• Programming skills in Python, C, C++, Java
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi)
• Designing lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Iceberg, Databricks)
• Knowledge of data mesh and data fabric architectures
• Experience with ML/AI data management and automation
• Management and implementation of MDM solutions
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, serverless architectures
• Agile/Scrum project methodology experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• 3+ years working with cloud-based data platforms and governance frameworks (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Security, or related fields
