Data and Analytics Elevate Project Manager

Key responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to join our dynamic team within a leading insurance company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies and demonstrate proficiency through demonstrable experience in managing complex digital projects.

This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation initiatives that enhance customer experience and streamline business operations.

As a Digital Project Manager, your responsibilities include:

1. Leading and managing digital projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
2. Implementing agile methodologies to optimize project delivery, including Scrum, Kanban, or other frameworks as appropriate.
3. Utilizing Jira to track project progress, manage tasks, and facilitate communication among team members.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions.
5. Developing project plans, roadmaps, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, while monitoring and reporting on project performance.
6. Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project outcomes, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
7. Facilitating regular project meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
8. Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates and insights into project status and achievements.
9. Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.

What you bring

• Degree level qualification in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Digital Project Manager in a large organization, preferably within the insurance or financial sectors.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience in implementing them in project management.
• Proficiency in using Jira for project tracking and management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM) is a plus.
