Data Analytics Audit Manager

Internal Audit department is part of the Governance Function within Schneider Electric (SE) and operates from several locations across the world. It is part of the 3rd line of defense who finally reports to the Chief Governance Officer (CGO) and the Audit Committee.

This position will be a key player in elevating the level of Internal Audit across the entire region. Responsibilities include:

1. Interacting with all facets and levels of business in SE, networking with functional experts, global process owners, and internal audit team members worldwide.
2. Supporting internal audit through data querying and analysis, leveraging sources like ERPs (SAP, Oracle), Concur, and others using tools such as Alteryx or ACL.
3. Assessing internal control levels, identifying performance improvement areas, and optimizing sampling methods.
4. Measuring operational risks, ensuring understanding of analyses, and training teams on analytical tools.
5. Driving projects on data extraction, maintaining scripts, understanding business processes and IT environment, and assessing vulnerabilities to mitigate fraud and capital losses.
6. Suggesting additional analytics across various domains and innovative visualizations of results.

Technical competencies required include:

• Alteryx, ACL, SQL, Oracle database, Tableau or similar visualization tools, Machine learning, Python, R, scripting, and statistical languages.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Data Science.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or Data Science.
• Knowledge of SAP/Oracle ERP and Alteryx is desirable.
• Proven experience in data analytics, auditing, and risk management.
