The aim of the Junior Accountant is to support the French Finance Team with accounting duties and other finance activities.

WHO YOU WORK WITH

Reporting to the: Finance Treasury and Credit Control Manager

WHAT YOU DO

• AR / AP Accounting such as scanning and booking of purchase invoices, sending invoices to the customers.
• Preparation of payments.
• Booking bank statements.
• Assist on preparation of tax and VAT declarations.
• Handle periodical closing process, including typical closing activities like accruals, invoicing, etc.
• All-round financial support.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have a good knowledge of MS Office.
• You are an expert in MS Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent through experience.
• You have relevant experience as a (Junior) Accountant.
• You are fluent in both English and French and can express yourself in French.
• You are accurate with a strong analytical and critical mind.
• You respect tight deadlines and are flexible to meet them.
• You take initiative to improve things and have a strong hands-on mentality.
