About the Department

The Competitive Intelligence and Knowledge Management Department (CIKM), reporting to Corporate Strategy, plays a crucial role in internal decision-making processes that shape Servier's future. The CIKM function is vital for inspiring and confirming long-term corporate choices.

Job Overview

We are seeking a data analyst with strong skills in Competitive and Business Intelligence to enhance the utilization of all Servier internal and external CI sources and business intelligence platforms, ensuring they are reliable, user-friendly, and efficient.

Accountabilities

1. Collaborate with DDIS (Digital, Data & IS teams) to design, develop, and maintain Servier's Knowledge Management portal that consolidates all competitive intelligence data sources.
2. Implement data collection mechanisms, including web scraping and data mining, to gather relevant competitive intelligence.
3. Create intuitive and interactive dashboards and visualizations for CI insights, leveraging Data & Digital tools in partnership with DDIS.
4. Work with cross-functional teams (CI analysts, DDIS, BD, GPS, GMPA, R&D) to understand and fulfill platform needs.
5. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in competitive intelligence tools, platforms, and methodologies.
6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the CIKM team members in data analysis.

Essential Skills and Experience

1. Experience in data analytics.
2. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3. Proficiency in data collection, analysis tools, and data mining techniques.
4. Familiarity with competitive intelligence tools, market research, and benchmarking methodologies.
5. Interest or knowledge in machine learning and data science techniques.
6. Open to junior or senior level candidates.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with strategic and analytical thinking.
9. Curiosity and creativity.
10. An investigative/business intelligence mindset.
11. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
